Guest guest
I'm not saying not needle GB 21 just that a perpendicular insertion at the depths mentioned in the study was to be looked at carefully. Yes, most of the time, nothing needs to be done. Most of the time the anatomy is the way you would like. You can needle GB 21 hundreds of time and then get one person with an abnormal anatomy. Most of the time they can go home and rest. Maybe not. It's those that I worry about. Not for myself, because I am vigilant to make any potentially unsafe procedure as safe as possible. By the way I consider myself well educated with strong " acupuncture and anatomy procedures " . doug > _________________ > ____________________ > __ > > Message: 7 > Sun, 21 Aug 2005 12:53:52 -0700 > " " <alonmarcus > Re: needle depth > > For these reasons, it is my contention that any > perpendicular needling at GB 21 (nor anywhere on the upper abdomen) > is potentially unsafe. > >>>>>> >>>>>> > Doug any medical procedure is potentially unsafe. Guest guest
I agree... your post read as very insulting to me. Now I can see that perhaps you were using the universal You. A way around this is to use " a person " or " one " instead of the You. Thanks for the clarification... no hard feelings. doug > By the way I consider myself well educated with strong " acupuncture > and anatomy procedures " . > > >>>>>> > Doug > It looks like people are taking stuff personally, i am sure you are knowledgeable from the post in the past and did not mean to infer anything else.
