Guest guest
Dear Group, Does anyone have any opinions, experiences, or ideas about colostrum and its use? Here in China it is extremely popular with pediatricians, who frequently recommend children begin taking it after 6 months until they are 3-4 years old. Adults with weak immune systems are also sometimes recommended to take it. Any thoughts? BTW, for those of you who may not know what colostrum is, if I am correct, it is the first milk that is produced by cows (and I imagine possibly all mammals?) after giving birth. It is rich is antibodies and , I guess, helps build the baby anilmal's immune system as well as prevent infection in the begining of the animal's life when the immune system is still developing. Thanks, Greg
