Guest guest
I agree with Homes - I think the naked lady is a little offensive. It's not the nudity, it's that the proportions of the model and the posture of the pose look a little like a pin-up. Ultimately it gives the graphics a kind of " kitsch " esthetic, probably unintended. ---roseanne
Guest guest
I totally disagree. There is nothing wrong with the posture, rather they are professional postures used in anatomy. I can't see anything 'pin up' about it at all. Perhaps you are looking at her facial expression, which is a little off. It's not that easy to notice, takes years to learn how to 'read' Asian faces. Look me years to know when my Asian wife was happy or not. Having said that, most westerns see Asian faces as cold and harsh, a common error which I have done many times. I would say that the Chinese model used in the flash teaching material has had her armpits shaved. A very uncommon thing in China. It may of been made for foreign markets as well and does illustrate the professional quality of the model. Warm regards, Attilio D'Alberto Doctor of (Beijing, China) B.Sc. Guest guest
I agree with Attilio, i didn't see anything wrong with it. I showed it to my wife, who is not an acupuncturist but is a distance learning professional. She thought the presentation was well-done, and didn't seem at all offended. robert hayden Chinese Medicine , " Attilio D'Alberto " <attiliodalberto> wrote: > I totally disagree.
