Culprit in 5 E terms is a Water yin upset, marauding on HT. Slack beat is due to Cold which comes with the syndrome. Bradycardia of a long standing is never a HT condition in etiologic terms, because HT cannot harm itself to this degree. It is never a LV condition even when Wind may contribute Movement, because a Mother will always benefit the Son. It is never a SP condition because Son won't attack the Mother, and Damp will cause a missed beat, but never slow cadence. LU will never cause the condition because it is the natural victim of HT. If the 5 E pattern is settled and Water is the culprit, setting it right with 5 Shu Mother will, all things being equitable, bring up the beat to normal inside of a session.
