Guest guest
Historically, the MaWangDui mss are extremely valuable, as they provide 1st hand early documentation (ca. 200 B.C.E) of healing practices and proto-fragments of the Han medical system. Virtually all the Han " classics " reach us only through copies ( " textus receptus " ) dating from Song times, already heavily edited or reconstructed, often multiple times, since their supposed origins in ca. 100 BCE to ca. 300 CE.
