Guest guest
Dear Friends, I will share some of my personal experiences around my efforts to market. I have now been practicing for just under 4 years. Until 6 months ago, I thought I am never going to make money doing this. For me acupuncture is a second career and I have a small pension that barely covers necessities. I was worried all the time. I was frantic. Then one day I woke up, this is after doing acupuncture on myself every day for about 2 months, and I said, " You have never done without food, clothing and shelter. There are times when you had access to a lot of money, my husband's, yet you still felt anxious about money. Stop it. " I did. I was then free to think about how much I love helping people and much to my own surprise my " business " took off. The moral of the story is that you cannot surround yourself in fear based energy and expect people to be drawn to you. You need to send out love. NEW TOPIC Why are so many people interested in having acupuncture covered by Medicare? As a former economist, I see that as working harder to make the same or less money. If I am charging $60 a visit now and see 20 people a week, I am making $1200 dollars. Medicare will not pay anywhere near that amount and I will have to work 40 hours or run 2 or 3 rooms to make the same amount. I don't think that makes any sense. Don't wish for medicare. Doctors hate it and there must be a good reason since they are not fools. Peace, Zinnia
