I asked Nigel Wiseman about these problems. He said that your

question is a very good one. Clearly there is a mistake in Grasping

the Wind, at least within consistency (as you have pointed out the

English name of upper gate is translated inconsistently between two

references of the point in the same book). Nigel said that Andy Ellis

was primarily working on this portion at the time and said that we

will need to ask him for his reasons to determine whether it was

intended or accidental. It is possible that because the two points

are on separate channels, perhaps he translated them at different

times and didn't catch the inconsistency. It is also possible that he

translated the names based on different Chinese texts explaining the

point names, or perhaps a single Chinese text that explained the point

names made a mistake on its own. Regardless of how the inconsistency

occurred, Nigel would like to determine which names are the best for

these two points so that the names can be updated for consistency and

accuracy. There are arguments possible for all the various names, but

the two points should be consistent with each other. Good job

catching the error. All books are prone to have little mistakes, but

the mistakes should be corrected for the future.
