I am seeking information which hopefully someone in this group may

be able to advise me on. Although not directly concerning herbal

treatments or remedies

 

My Grandfather was a Vet. He recently passed away. As I was going

through some of his " things " ...I found an interesting ointment/paste.

I remember as a kid, I used to watch him apply this paste to young

horses legs, when they had shin soreness. I do recall him saying

that all the ingredients are natural...and he always jokingly said

that its his secret formula. I have approx 200 grams of this paste.

My question here is.....Is it possible to find out what the

ingredients are, and how it was made?

In other words......is there are laboratory or facility, where I can

have this paste analysed, detailing the ingredients, their

quantities, and perhaps even the manufacturing process.

I am keen to find out this info, as it seems that the paste had a

very high success rate with the horses he treated....and I am keen

to make some of this paste.
