Guest guest Posted January 13, 2006 Report Share Posted January 13, 2006 Hi I was bitten by a tick on Tuesday. It's looking a lot like it might be a lyme disease bite. It's swollen, circular and itches and the circle is getting bigger...It's also very red and tender and it has a very pronounced bite site. My husband is positive that he got all the parts out and having pets and living in the country we've all had a tick or two latch on but I've never had this sort of reaction before. We live in the Sierra foothills where the disease is but we never hear about anyone getting it. There is a homeopathic site that promises the book they sell will tell me how to cure it in 72 hours but I'm really wanting to find out what to do now.
