Guest guest
I used to take Echinacea in the winter to help prevent colds. However, I stopped this practice after I noticed a trend. I should mention that I would only take it for like one month at a time (primarily in the heart of cold/flu season), and it seemed to keep me very healthy while I was on it. Then as soon as I would stop taking it, I would get a very bad cold. In fact I noticed that I would end up being sicker for longer than my friends from whom I caught it. It almost seemed like my immune system got used to the Echinacea and it became like a crutch for my immune system...as if my immune system became lazy while I was on it.
