Darlene,

I have done liver flushes a number of times and I can give you the following

advice based

on my experience:

An intestinal cleanse is always the best thing to do before you cleanse your

liver so the

passageway out is clean and the stones and toxins that will be released by your

liver will

exit quickly and will not be reabsorbed into your body, causing too much of a

" healing

crisis " .

I would try to drink the apple cider beforehand if possible, as it is what helps

soften the

stones and makes it easier for more of them to be expelled during the flush.

Flushes I did

without the apple juice were somewhat less successful in terms of the amount of

stones I

got out.

The epsom salts (magnesium sulfate), in addition to helping flush the stones

quickly out

of your digestive tract, are primarily used because it relaxes the smooth

muscles of the

bile ducts so that there is no pain whatsoever as the stones are being expelled

from the

liver and gallbladder. They don't taste particularly wonderful, but are very

effective. I find

that mixing them with juice instead of water makes them a little more palatable.

I would definitely mix the olive oil with grapefruit juice, as you can shake the

mixture up

well in a jar, which will emulsify it and make it easier to swallow. You can

also use a straw,

which makes the mixture go down easier. You take it only once, immediately

before going

to bed.

If you lie down immediately after taking the oil/juice on your right side with

your head

slightly raised, you should feel little or no nausea. I found that if I lay on

my back or left

side I felt a bit nauseous. You should normally feel no pain whatsoever, due to

the relaxing

of the bile ducts by the epsom salts. Of the many times I've done it I had

trouble sleeping

only once. I generally sleep quite well until morning.

I can also advise applying some olive or coconut oil to the rectal area to help

keep the skin

from feeling the burning effect of the toxins and stomach acids which are

expelled the

morning after.

Hope this helps some, and even though it doesn't taste fantastic, the results

are well worth

the effort!
