Flue shots

My medico keeps nagging me to get the "shot", I keep kindly refusing. I believe that building up one's immune system is the best way not to get sick or as sick.

My hubby works in a school as a custodian and is exposed to every thing as he cleans up after the sick ones. Normally he gets sick as a dog but this year he has been well. The difference??? Cod liver oil, elderberry and English ivy. He has felt he is getting sick and I pump him full of the Elderberry and English ivy but the CLO is a daily thing.

He also has started to drink raw organic grass fed milk and we are eating mostly organic. (well, he is a junk food junkie but has cut way back and eats the good stuff here at home) We have kefir smoothies and use coconut oil and raw eggs (thank you to our hens for the organic eggs). I truly believe this has made the difference.

I so far have been well too, this is a new one for me too! I have a very compromised immune system from cancer treatments and anemia and a bunch of other health things. So when I get sick I nearly end up in the hospital. This year, when I feel the sniffles coming on, I hit the elderberry, English ivy and ecanassia (sp?). CLO is a daily thing for me and I just double what I am already taking. By the evening or next day I am good as new.

So for this household, NO MORE SHOTS (I mean no flu or vacancies)!
