Guest guest
Flu shots are awful!!! I remember the first year that we had our foster daughter, the social worker kept asking if we had gotten her her flu shot because we were sick all winter. I kept telling her that you can't get shots when you are sick. Lol. I knew the real reason that I was sick was because I was in my first trimester but just before they did the termination of parental rights I wasn't going to introduce the issue. My sister had all her children faithfully vaccinated (it was the year of the killer flu a few years ago) and EVERY SINGLE ONE of them got sick with it. I think the flu shot is so dumb if you understand the nature of that virus. The reason they have to come up with a new one every year (and not even discussing the horrible things in the shot) is because the flu virus mutates so fast you can't keep immune to it. Duh! What they don't tell you is that it mutates constantly all season and so the flu you get " vaccinated " against you might only get a light case, but you might get three other strains of it while your body is weakened fighting off the illness that you deliberately gave it. I have always thought it was dumb even before I started researching vaccinations.
