Guest guest
I have a kefir grains that have been sitting in a jar of organic unpasterised milk for about 6 months (or could be more) since I had been working night shift and have not had the energy or time to do things. I have some grains also in a container in the freezer (done in the proper freezer method). With the kefir in the fridge would they still be Ok to use, by washing, putting them in milk and be able to be used or do I have to throw them away and use the ones in the freezer? With the ones in the freezer how do I go about reviving them and re-using them again? Guest guest
I would go ahead and try the grains from the fridge, nothing to loose but a bit of milk. I would try to revive them like you would the frozen grains and see what happens.
