Did the doctor have any ideas as to the cause? Heartburn, hiatal

hernia, too much stomach acid, not enough stomach acid, constipation,

diarrhea, food poisoning, food allergy, stress?

Does this happen often? Is it on an empty stomach or right after

eating? Is it with certain types of foods?

Please give us more info so maybe we can come up with some ideas to

try to help. I know that my husband had some severe cramping, I gave

him some aloe vera gel to sip, and his cramping went away.

My dad has to take digestive enzymes made from papaya and pineapple.

My mom drinks an apple cider vinegar tonic before each meal...AC

vinegar and honey in a glass of water. Start with a teaspoon each of

honey and AC vinegar. As you get used to the taste, you can increase

to a Tablespoon of each.

Take care,

Teresa

Fresh peppermint and peppermint leaves have long been used to soothe

stomach ailments, both in traditional medicine and in modern terms.

In addition to soothing the digestive tract and limiting indigestion,

peppermint leaves have been shown to help alleviate the symptoms of

irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

These healing properties of peppermint are apparently related to its

smooth muscle relaxing ability. Once the smooth muscles surrounding

the intestine are relaxed, there is less chance of spasm and the

indigestion that can accompany it. The menthol contained in peppermint

may be a key reason for this bowel-comforting effect.

Peace and Blessings
