Guest guest
Marlene, Yes I have with pink eye and sty's....works great and CS works well with herbs. CS will burn ever so slightly if used alone in the eye, I have mixed it with MSM for eye use to stop that from happening. Green tea might work just as well. fft herbal remedies , " Marlene " <MarleneLawson@p...> wrote: > > Has anyone used CS for viral eye infections like Pink-eye ? > My daughter was sent home today with pink-eye and I'm wondering about using CS along with green tea compress........ > Blessings, > Marlene > > > " The Doctor of the Future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the Care of the Human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease. Guest guest
Hi Marlene, I have used CS on pink eye successfully. Just keep in mind that it doesn't stick around long, she'll have to spritz her eyes about every half hour or so. It should clear it up quickly. Spritzing with a spray bottle is not uncomfortable, but using it as drops can be mildly so.You may also want to add 5% DMSO to the mix (in a glass bottle of course). -Raine, who got cayenne in her eye last night and it is now a bright red :-\ Marlene wrote: Has anyone used CS for viral eye infections like Pink-eye ? Guest guest
Definitely....CS will work there... The other thing to do is to chop up an organic onion and let the fumes go in your daughter's eye.... it will burn and sting a bit, but it will help with the infection.... herbal remedies [herbal remedies ]On Behalf Of MarleneWednesday, January 04, 2006 3:31 PMherbal remedies Subject: Herbal Remedies - Colloidal Silver for Pink-eye ?? Guest guest
Thanks to everyone for your advice for pink eye.........we used a green tea bag as a compress on the eyes for about 10 minutes at a time and then used a drop of CS 500ppm (pharmaceutical grade) in each eye twice a day and then again at bed time...........it has been 36 hours and is cleared up already.............I thought it was funny that the school told me to get a prescription for antibiotics and it should be cleared up in a week !!!!!!!!! hmmmm, again, thanks to those that responded.
