I did a google on argyria and found Rosemary Jacobs site: [ http://homepages.together.net/~rjstan/rose2.html ] She has argyria and blames it on taking CS laced nosedrops as a child for allergies. She turned gray at 14. I read the whole content. I am an engineer and I know how to develop the facts of a situation. MY OPINION of her website is that it has no factual basis. It is all based on assumptions. She does not know any details of the product she took. IE colloidal, or nitrate, or ??. She cannot definitivly say silver caused her condition. NO PROOF, just say-so. I'm sure she just grabbed the first thing that could be blamed for her condition. I get irritated that some self serving people will go to tremendous lenghts to try and get every one else to agree. There are too many people in this world to fit into one way of thinking. I know silver nitrate has side effects taken in large amounts from my own family's experience. IE: Younger brother had continuous nose bleeds stopped with silver nitrate to cauterize the nasal linings. I do not remember the details anymore as it was in the early 1950's. Now for the facts without sensationalism and no fear mongering: This herbal remedies website [ herbal remedies ] has how many members? 4634 people that will use or have used CS, even homemade. This CS website forum has 2420 members that use CS on a daily basis without any adverse side effects: http://health.colloidalsilver2/messages How many testimonials are there for actual benefit?, too many to list here!. How many negative testimonials are there?, too many to list here. I am certain that the pharma companies are doing ther best to refute the CS cure all scenario. A few years back I was heavily into CS research. I joined a bunch of different CS email groups, started making it on my own, and basically experimenting on my own. My conclusions that developed were that CS is amazing and potent stuff. If you compare CS with a silver nitrate you will see a distinctive difference in the appearance. CS is clear and the silver nitrate is not. If the silver nitrate were to get on your clothes or skin it will stain. CS obviously will not. So common sense says that if you ingest a silver nitrate you run the risk of forming some gray spots on your skin. This is not true with CS. CS should be made with distilled water, pure silver and some electricity. That is it. Nothing else added. If it is made with anything different is where the problems arise. I have seen CS work wonders with family and friends. I feel that if anyone is taking CS by combining a 2 week intestinal cleanse, one can greatly reduce any detox reaction from it. But a detox reaction isn't the worst thing in the world, it is a sign from your body that it is doing its job.... Anyways, Happy New Year to all.
