Mad cow disease, the major scare that everyone is terrified about is caused by a

bad reaction to vaccinations. I guess autism for cows? However it is spread

because they feed the cows on the flesh of other cows. Once they eat the

infected meat it spreads and the cannibal cow gets it. As the cows they feed

to the other cows are the cows that are too diseased, and they cannot sell for

meat, (drum roll please) guess what they do with the cows that die of mad cow

disease, and guess why it spreads through the herd so fast? It is not the

contigen from sneezing that spreads it through the herd. Sheesh. Then they

use the blood to feed the calves so they don't " waste " the valuble milk on

them.

Someone should remind the commercial industries that cannibalism is UNNATURAL!

There is NO species in nature that survives on cannibalism. None whatsoever.

I think my statement was misread. I said there is no species that SURVIVES by

cannibalism. That is there is no species that all or most of what they eat is

their own species. I am not so naive to believe that it doesn't happen. I

know very well that nature is harsh. However, it is always in certain

circumstances, ie just before laying eggs and needing the extra boost, a male

wanting to get the female in breeding condition faster, a mother jealous of her

young, a starving situation. It is not the norm for every meal.

Also, cows are herbavores. Period. Look at their teeth. They are not

carnivores or omnivores. To feed an herbivore with meat is to give it

something that it would never consume in nature. If you ever want to know what

to feed an animal look at the teeth (or beak) It is always very clear what the

animal should consume.

Thanks for this Ramona. Just another feather in the cap of eating nothing but ORGANIC!!!!!!!!

Any species has the capability of going cannibalistic if starved for proper nutrition long enough, including humans.

A good farmer LOVES his animals and treats them with tremendous respect.

I appreciate the information.
