Guest guest
I just had a few questions...I just got a whole slew of stuff from Doc and want to make sure I understand the use.For the total tonic am I correct in saying if you use it on a child it's the 150 rule? So if my son weighs 50 pounds he would get 1/3 dropper? And for the deep tissue oil, do you have to rub a whole dropper on or does a few drops do it? My son sometimes has growing pains and thought I could use it on his leg pains when he gets them. All of these things including the cayenne tincture is safe for children if needed correct? Oh and can you mix the total tonic with anything if needed or take it straight? Sorry about all the questions, I was so happy to get everything and didn't realize I didn't fully know how to use the stuff..LOL Marci
Guest guest
Dear Marci, Yes, always use the 150 Rule on Kids. Go easy on the Deep Tissue Repair Oil. This stuff is potent. In one of my rare moments I had my masseuse do my entire back using Deep Tissue Repair Oil and I couldn't sleep or sit down for 3 days. ROTFLOL Because she rubbed it in very thoroughly, there was nothing I could do about it and nothing would relieve the heat generated by it. With DTROil start small (a few drops to a quarter of a dropperful) and work up is the rule here. ;-) As long as you remember the 150 Rule, you can use most herbal preparations on kids including babies. If in doubt, pose a question to the list and you'll get your question answered. I'd never use an herb like Poke Root on a baby for example, but Total Tonic, Echinacea, Cayenne, and your Kidney / Liver herbs used in moderation will work wonders on kids. For a kid with growing pains I'd use B,F & C = Bone, Flesh and Cartilage both the Tincture and the Tea. This is an old Doc Christopher Formula that works wonders and is second to none. Make sure this child gets plenty of protein in his meals. Hope this helps.
