Hello,

I am 40-and I am a wreck!!! I am of course not thin, I have type 2,

uncontrolled, no insurance, I have constant candida, I have super

high triglycerides and high cholesterol. I'm a butter aholic. I also

have been having major heart palputations/thumping/irregular heart

beats.

The other day I was carrying groceries and my heart was fluttering

out of my chest practically...weird feelings. The pressure on my

heart has been alot lately due to stress.

I am currently puting my husband thru Chiropractic College. He

changed careers and it changed our lives. I went from a great life to

nothing. My depression is so high and I need to pull out of this.

I need advice on herbs and such for these problems. I know that diet

is a HUGE factor. I also know that its not enough in many instances

to bring our bodies back to shape. I beleive strongly in herbs and

little in medicine.

Help me get started, someone please. I cannot afford to go see a

Herbalist here in CA.

I don't believe that taking any herb is going to help you nearly as much as

COMPLETELY changing your diet. The change is simple...do not eat any thing that

is processed beyond minimal processing. Minimal processing means things like

grinding the grain into flour and cooking or baking. Eat fresh, whole foods

cooked from scratch. Eat a fair amount of raw food. Don't eat anything that

comes out of a box or can. Eat absolutely NO processed flour or sugar. There

is a whole world of whole, unprocessed foods out there. Eat a wide variety.

Don't eliminate any food group but at the same time, don't overeat any food

group. Eat a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, beans, nuts, seeds, grains,

protiens...all of them whole and unprocessed.

I can tell you that if you will do this, no matter what the cause of your

diabetes, your blood sugars will improve, your triglycerides and cholesterol

will improve. Your candida will improve to some extent (although following a

candida diet will help it more).

No amount of herbs is going to make up for putting highly processed food into

your body.

Many in this group are big believers in intestinal cleansing. I agree with them

that it is important to clean out old junk. But I also believe that it's

pointless for anyone to cleanse if they're just going to continue to dump junk

into their bodies.

Just my opinion.

Penni, I have/had some of the problems you've mentioned for yourself so I'll let you know what I've been doing. I'm assuming you have type 2 diabetes. I don't have diabetes but my mom did, she passed away a couple of years ago, I was her full time caregiver. I can't stress to you enough the absolute need to change your diet to a more healthy one. You have to learn to say "NO" to yourself. I had high choleterol. Overall cholesterol was 315. Every day I took (and still take) 4 grams (4,000 mgs) of Omega 3s (not just fish oil, look at the Omega 3 contents EPA and DHA), 2400 mgs of Red Yeast Rice, 400 mgs Niacin, 200 mgs of Co Q10. This will also clean out your artaries and improve your blood pressure. I wish I had all this information when my mom was still alive. Garlic is great for this as well, but I'm finally healing of major ulcers and Esophagus problems so garlic really burns them at the present

time. If you go with garlic take 8 to 12 cloves a day with olive oil. Again, you must change your diet. I take Hawthorne as well, and I've been off all blood pressure medication for almost 3 months now. This has also helped with my irregular heart beat. I'm taking a number of other herbs but they're for healing these horrible ulcers and esophagus. But Omega 3s have also improved my eyesight as well, and are a big part of my daily ritual.Penni <chirowife03 wrote: Hello,I am 40-and I am a wreck!!! Try a live juice fast. Not only will it help you out phsically but mentally as well. When you are on a fast, the clouds get lifted that are in front of you. It is incredible what all it does for you. Starting January 1, I am going to be doing a 30 day fast, join me. GinaPenni <chirowife03 wrote: Hello,I am 40-and I am a wreck!!! It might do wonders to change your lifestyle. I was experiencing some

health issues and once I changed some things in my lifestyle it

cleared up. Some of your problems might be due to how some things are

in your life.

hope this helps,

Hi,

I was on a vegan diet... much raw. I was cleansing too. The cleansing

scared me. I was afraid of waht I would find. I found nothing, thank

goodness. hahaaha

I am beginning on Monday. I will keep you posted on the progress. I

had major withdrawls last time. I only quit because I went back to

work and it was hard to cook like that while working. Now, I am home.

Thanks!!
