Guest guest
I am facing a surgery for a hernia that we discovered on the 8th of December. It is to the right and a little lower of my bellybutton. It is a worker's comp issue as I work at UPS and the docs determined it happened there as I felt a rip when I lifted a box in Feb. But it really started to bother me in August and would reoccur. Well, the doc said it was very rare for this to occur in a female. I'll be talking to the surgeon next week. At the same time my TSH is high. And so are my cholesterol levels though they weren't before (1 year prior). I don't know about the TSH - it was high 7 years ago. So the thyroid problem is a chronic condition. I started the synthroid 4 weeks back but I can't stand it and it makes me feel a little dizzy. I halved the dosage and that was better. A chiro tested it on me with muscle testing and my muscle went lax and he said it wasn't helping the thyroid nor the kelp I have had for awhile. That is my perception as well. I lived in W. Germany during the time Chernobyl happened and I can't help but think it relates to radiation. So I'm wondering where do I start - I have limited funds and cannot buy a lot of supplements though herbs are cheap if I buy what I need from the herb store or the bulk area of the health food store. I also can't switch to an organic diet completely just yet until I make some more money. I am wondering if the Total Draw poultice would help? I am going to start taking niacin as well but I hate the stuff. I also think I'll start the deep tissue repair oil on my abdomen to try to get rid of some of the pain. I'm a single mom of three and I need to do something effective and gradual that I can add into my daily routine. Thks, Angie
