Yes, and that is why with gallbladder issues you should not use the olive oil/lemon juice cleanse. Oil stimulates the gallbladder to produce more bile, which aggrivates the condition, Dawn, Herbalist, aromatherapistMarloe Scott Wilson <marloe wrote: Coming back to my first question, does anyone know of stones getting "stuck" during a cleanse?Marloe

Marloe,

Yep, I have heard of it on curezone. The recommendations I have heard

is to take some more epsom salts to relax the bile ducts and see if

the stone will pass. You could try flushing again asap. If this does

not work, then taking something to break up the stones such as chanca

piedra will help. I have had personal experience with chanca piedra

and it really does break up the stones but I have not had a stone

stuck (that I know of). I know that my liver is very congested and I

do have a hard time getting anything out when I flush. I am ordering

some more chanca piedra to see if that will help get things moving

again.

Yes, I have, I worked at a large herb store in the midwest, and was one of the herbalists. I have heard a lot of stories about gallbladder issues especially when using the olive oil/lemon juice detox. What I had people do who had gallstone issues was do a longer liver and gallbladder detox with herbs, while supporting their gallbladder with essentail fatty acids and apple cider vinigar (mixed in apple juice). Apple cider vinigar breaks up fatty stones (from bile), calcium stones and apple juice breaks up other stones. The fatty acids lubricates the bile and liver which helps transport the stones out (once broken up). I hope this makes sence. Write me off list if you have questions! Marloe, My ggrandmother had a stone which went from her gall bladder into her pancreas. But she was not doing a cleanse. She never went much to doctors and lived to age 95 anyway. I think the stones dissolve with most cleanses.
