Guest guest
Hi, I'm reading Matthew Wood's Book of Herbal Wisdom and he talks about mother tinctures and then about 2x, 12x, etc., which as far as I can surmise is the amount of times the original mother tincture is watered down. Am I right about this or can someone set me straight?(Dawn? ) I'm not sure if this is part of homeopathy or just a very specific herbalist recipe... thanks, Susan
Guest guest
Grin..... Mathew is the consumate homeopathic herbalist. Most of his doses are non-standard in that he uses 1-3 drops of mother tincture or homeopathic doses of herbal tinctures (2x, 12x, etc.). It works for him and some of his students. I however always prefered the standardized doses. He is a great herbalist and teacher, (genius level) and I would recommend any of his books to anyone here!
