Liver cleanse and stones...

Hello all

I am keen to do a liver cleanse and have what seems to be a really good

recipe. The regimen includes grapefruit juice, lemon juice, apple juice,

Epsom salts and olive oil (no not taken all together!). My question is

this - is it likely that any of the stones may get stuck in a duct or

elsewhere? My gall bladder is not too happy and I have had trouble eating

anything vaguely fatty of late. I really want to do the cleanse but am a bit

nervous of the possibility of pain due to stuck stones.

Anyone had experience of a cleanse of this ilk?

Thsi is not the clense for you then. The oil will cause your gallbader to squirt out more bile and mayaggrivate your condition. How about starting with a simple clense like milk thistle, dandilion root, burdock root ina tea for three times a day . I have had only good results, except at the beginning my liver was so packed the oil wasn't moving thorough and it would make me nauseated for a bit then it would pass. I would also like to do a liver cleanse, but I am concerned about the

gallbladder part of it. What if a person doesn't have a gallbladder? Mine was

removed a number of years ago (if I only knew then what I know now). How should

the liver cleanses be modified to allow for the lack of a gallbladder?

Also, I never did get an answer from anyone. Is an intestinal cleanse needed

for a person whose bowels are very normal (2-4 normal bowel movements each day -

no diarrhea, no constipation)?

A regular liver cleanse (not the olive oil/lemon juice cleanse) should be fine with the lackof a gallbladder. An intestinal cleanse also clears out mucus pockets and stagnent material so doing a colon clense should be helpful to you even with regular bowel movements. It is the juice that dissolve the stones, apple juice, one quart

daily, is the most common juice used for that cleanse. Good luck.
