Guest guest
I wondered if anyone can help me here...I did an herbal tea cleanse for about 1 1/2 months (my first cleanse)...got off it last week to take a break. Before the cleanse, I would get a few eczema spots (I think thats what they are) after taking a shower-only then. Today after my shower, both of my upper arms were covered in these same red itchy spots (they are dime size and dry looking is why I think it's eczema). Is this still toxins coming out after a week or is there something I can do for this? It is only visible for a few hours after the shower but it looks just awful! Help!! Guest guest
I must sound like I have stock in coconut oil but it gets rid of eczema. I have gotten rid of every skin rash, hive, breakout etc. with coconut oil. I gave some to my co-worker who has exzema and at first it got really soft, red, and bled a little. I think it was breaking through the tissue or something.........it did that for a little bit and than cleared up. I have seen this with my own eyes. Try it and see what happens. Guest guest
Jeanne, I have to agree with you about the coconut oil. I've used it on all kind of skin conditions for myself and my pets. It works wonders! I even add it to my pet food. It has helped a lot with their skin and hair. Guest guest
Are you allergic to coconut oil or are you detoxing through your skin? For the first 3 months of use my skin looked horrible. It was flaky, dry, red patches, and I had these huge breakouts (zits of sorts) that would either disapear as quickly as they came or would hang for days and weep. I know my body was detoxing all the crap out of my system........like years and years of drugs that I no longer needed when I made some natural changes. Any way if you know you are allergic this might be an alternative. A friend of mine, Dick Quinn, was the author of Left for Dead, and excellent book on cayenne made up a preparation for one of my friends who had exzema or psorisis. He steeped dried cayenne pepper (african birdseye but you could use habenaro or something hotter than regular cayenne too) in olive oil for 30 days and than instructed my friend Donnie to use this topically. I saw drastic changes in his skin too. Not as quickly as the coconut oil but it did work. As I recall Dick used a heaping Tablespoon into about 4 ounces of organic olive oil. Doc might have a better suggestion though. Jeanne
