Diatomaceous earth is a non toxic roach killer. The earth gets in their lungs and kills them.

Herbal Remedies - natural Remedies for roaches

We have had a bad roach problem, and don't know how to handle it. We have children, and my oldest son and I have asthma, so we don't want to use anything toxic. Please help.

Hiya Tamika,

Try Diatomaceous Earth. It slices the exoskeleton and the roaches die.

It's totally natrual and non-toxic, though it can be irritating to

lungs should your pets breathe it.

We use it for ants. The cats take care of any roaches...

Boric acid. Do a search with the words " roaches " " boric " and " acid " . You'll

get lots of references. As I understand it, it's safe for kids and (I think)

pets.
