Guest guest
Does anyone here have a Vita Mix and are they worth the money? I am looking into one, and would like some opinions on it. I am not looking at getting right now, maybe sometime next year. Would have to save up for it. Christine :-)
Guest guest
I have a friend who has one and loves it. Kimi~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "I do not ask that Thou should give me some high or noble task. Give melittle hands to fold in mine. Give me little children to point Thy way, overthe strange, sweet path that leads to You. Give me little voices to teach topray. Give me shining eyes Thy face to see. The only crown I ask to wear isthis, that I may teach my children. I do not ask that I may stand among thewise, the worthy, or the great; I only ask that softly, hand in hand mychildren and I may enter at the gate."-Anonymous
Guest guest
I have one and love it. What made me decide to get it was when a nutritionist told me that I could eat bananas (I'm allergic, but love them)that have been mashed up with this because it breaks the banana (the enzymes I think)down as if it were cooked. We mostly use it for making fruit smoothies and it works better than any blender I've had. herbal remedies , Chris <chris_place@b...> wrote: > > Does anyone here have a Vita Mix and are they worth the money? > I am looking into one, and would like some opinions on it. > I am not looking at getting right now, maybe sometime next year. > Would have to save up for it. > > Christine :-) >
Guest guest
They are worth their weight in solid 24 kt Gold. Not only the best blender for juicing/smoothies/ soups etc, but absolutely essential for making great tinctures. The quality of my Echinacea and other "root" tinctures went out the roof when I started using the Vita-Mix. Valorie and I bought one seven years ago, and even though we've changed the blades several times, it still works like a champ. We have 4 of them now, for making tinctures, and for our all Organic Juice Bar here in Clearwater. Go git it girl. You won't regret it. Guest guest
The Model 5000 but any model will do. Just make sure you don't use the blender container designed for "dry powder" mixing (This particular container doesn't normally come when you order one - you have to order it special). Guest guest
Only at the highest setting and only if you leave it at that setting for several minutes. One of the great things about the Vita-Mix is its variable speed motor. It goes from a real low RPM to a scream.
