Guest guest
Doc, I had an infection once that I treated this way. How does one counteract the smell - It wasn't just my breath, my sweat and even my urine smelled like garlic, LOL! It worked wonders for my infection, but my husband told me if I ever did that again he'd divorce me:) Tammi --- " Dr. Ian Shillington " <DocShillington wrote: > Dear Deb, > You do have your work cut out for you. ;-) > I suggest you start him off with only one clove of > Garlic. > 8 Cloves might send him into a full blown detox > which would turn him off big time. > Rome wasn't built in a day, and converting a hard > core hedonist over to a healthy lifestyle can take > months and even years. > LOL > Do the best you can, but never quit. Guest guest
Tammi, i must tell you, i had strep throut for 6 months and no antibiotic worked, was popping pills after pills, and said thats enough, ate one whole clove of garlic ( about 15 to 20 cloves) for 3 days and my strep was gone,,, yes i did smell, it took 3 days to get that smell out of me, but all that mattered was it worked,, so your hubby needs to just relax and have u healthy, and not sick, a little smell doesnt hurt anybody. --- Tammi <wundrfulworld wrote: > Doc, > > I had an infection once that I treated this way. Guest guest
Well, I took it in stride and as usual got the last word when I told him that garlic was a whole lot cheaper and more effective than dr. prescribed antibiotics. Guest guest
Valorie and I take our garlic together. You never notice it when you do this. After a while you stop stinking any way. Once you've detox'd, you won't stink after taking this herb. Guest guest
I cut the garlic and freeze it before I swallow it. This way it goes further into my gut before it starts to smell. I smell it on my skin but not my breath. I do the same with fish oil capsules to avoid burping fish taste. Does anyone know if freezing fresh garlic would make it less effective?
