A very personal question if you don't mind. I seem to have some type of infection. I am not sure if it is yeast or bacterial but, did you drink the silver or "apply" to the problem area??

Thanks,

Kim

Re: Herbal Remedies - Colloidal Silver

I love colloidal silver. I think it is wonderful. I think the artical postedthat explained that the protein garbage is what really causes harmful sideeffects makes perfect sense. My brother (being the kind of person that he is)decided to test out colloidal silver (really ionic silver) to see if he couldactually overdose. He drank a cup a day for a month and felt wonderful. Thenhe dropped to a more normal dosage for use. I have used it to sucessfullytreat yeast infections and more.As for it not being found in nature, I am not so sure. Mineral springs runningthrough deposits of metals have long been thought to have healing propertieswith differant springs (depending on their location and the minerals and metalsthey pick up) being used to treat differant ailments. And they do sosuccessfully.I love the stuff personally. I have used it to cure yeast infections literallyovernight.RamonaQuoting "Dr. Ian Shillington" <DocShillington:> I also tend to be of this mindset.> Afterall, Silver IS a heavy metal.> I haven't finished my research on this yet so am open to experiences with it.> In Health and Love,> Doc>> Doc Shillington> 727-447-5282> Doc -> maddress herbal remedies > Saturday, December 03, 2005 4:44 PM> Re: Herbal Remedies - Colloidal Silver>>> As colloidal silver is not something that I can grow, or find in nature, I> don't use it.>> Terri>

It will be most effective if you do both...apply to the area as

often as you can and also drink it--colloidal silver is also a

fantastic itch relief thing. If you apply most times the itch will

stop immediately--also will stop burning immediately.

Not at all. Actually it is not as personal as you think, as the yeast infection

was on my arm. Sound weird? Well I was nursing a small baby at the time and

due to natures generosity, nursing lying down is far easier on my back. Well,

lying next to me she spit up on my bed. I wiped it up and didn't change the

sheets, as our only other pair were in the laundry. When I went to nurse her

the next day, I lay down right on the spot, not remembering. After lying there

my arm started itching. I moved a little and it started itching in the new

spot too. When I finished nursing I was amazed at the huge red spots on my

arm.

I tried everything I could think of for them. I was flabbergasted because they

looked and acted like yeast infections. It was too weird a thought because I

had never heard of them attacking other parts of the body. THat was when I

realized about the milk on the sheets.

Well, to make a long story longer, I went to my brothers house that night. In

desperation I told his wife about it and asked for advice. They exchanged

glances and said " colloidal silver " together. He had just gotten his own

machine to make ionic silver, and we put saturated facecloths on each area and

taped them on. I kept them saturated, and when I left the next morning the

skin was clean and new. He gave me a bottle to take with me, and I have used

in on my daughters diapers (sponged on with a cotton ball), but I find it works

faster if you can keep saturation.

Yes, by the way, yeast is bacterial. It cannot become resistant to colloidal

silver either since colloidal silver takes away its ability (kills the enzyme)

that makes it utilize oxygen.

The History of Yeast, presented by Fleishman's Yeast.

http://www.breadworld.com/sciencehistory/science.asp

States,

Yeast is a tiny plant-like microorganism that exists all around us - in

soil, on plants and even in the air. It has existed for so long, it is

referred to as ‘the oldest plant cultivated by man’ ...

and our [Fleishman's] sole focus is on Saccharomyces

cerevisiae....
