I made a tincture with red clover blossoms, garlic and habenaro. Out of 10 that tried it 9 lowered to where they wanted to be. I even had one gal try it and she went from 320 to 170. But from what I understand cholesterol is there to protect you, that bit came from Sally Fallon she has a cookbook called Nourishing Traditions. I went to a seminar she was having and one whole night was dedicated to cholesterol myth. The other thing that would help your cholesterol drop is do a liver flush, I never have had high cholesterol and all the cholesterol stones that came out of me was unreal. Well there is a few things that you can research. Knowledge is power. Hope this helps Gina Sharron <sharronms wrote: Does anyone know which herb is good for lowering cholesterol?.. my cholesterol is elivated and I haven't been able to lower it with low cholesterol diet. Oatmeal and flaxseed lowered my cholesterol. I left a doctor that had

me on Lipitor and went to a doctor who took me off of it and

recommended oil and oats. Since I went to almost all raw food it has

gone lower still. I eat some cooked food in the evening but soak my

oatmeal and just warm it in the morning. I have it with fruit.

***I am new here and would like to give a quick intro and then my

note about the cholesterol. My name is Kimi and I live in MN with my

hubby Terry. We are now empty nesters with our three kids grown and

gone. We are blessed with three young grandblessings, ages 3 and 9

and 8 months.

I have been recovering from many health issues such as,

fibromyalgia, thyroid cancer, PCOS, diabetes, obesity, anemia and am

currently being watched for lymphoma.

I truly believe that God has provided cures for us through herbs and

such as well as through our diet (eating more closely to how things

were created, whole grains, grass fed beef, free roaming eggs etc.

and not things that man has messed around with such as white flour,

white sugar etc.).

Now on to the cholesterol item. This is my own personal experience

and hope you do not mind my sharing it.

I was not trying to lower my cholesterol but mine dropped 40 points

a few months after I started drinking raw (AKA real) milk. (I was

not a milk drinker prior to this and followed a lower fat diet) This

is straight from the bulk tank and has all the cream, not

homogenized nor pastorized. I make it into Kefir and drink a good 12

to 24 ozs daily. At the same time I started using coconut oil and

eating eggs nearly every day. Oh, plus I cut out most white sugars

and only use raw cane, honey, agave or molasses. I do not do white

flour either.

I thought for sure when I have my cholesterol levels checked they

would be sky high, I never thought it would drop! I went from my LDL

being 120 down to 80, my HDL went up from 38 to 60! My doctor was

happy with my improvements but never asked me how it happened. LOL.

If she knew I was eating all those fats, she would faint!

Another plus since I have started to eat more fats is my hormones

seem to have evened out and my emotions are even. Plus I have not

gotten real sick. That may be in a huge part to Umcka, CLO and

Colloidal Silver though. Either way, I feel better and know I may

have gotten the sniffles but not gotten sick!

Sharron,

I can't promise this will help, I just started it recently myself, however

one of my teachers spoke highly of it. Take fenugreek seed (but it whole

and grind it daily), take 1 tablespoon per day, mix it with some water and

drink it, OR, what I've been doing is just adding it to the superfood mix

that I make. He mentioned that he finds it works rather quickly at lowering

cholesterol.

The red clover was dried and the garlic and habenaro were fresh. They were taking a dropperful several times a day. If your going to make this, make sure the red clover blossom are purplish in color, if they are brown they were picked at the wrong time and it will not work the same. Gina Bonnie Rogers <bonnierogers wrote: GIna, how much tincture were you giving them per day of the red clover, garlic and habenaro? did you make the tincture from fresh or dried product? Bonnie

Gina,

Thanks for sending this. I'm sure this must seem like a " duh " question to you,

but for us newbies....what's the ratio of vodka to the herbs? How long do you

wait before you use the tincture?

Garlic, I would start with lots and lots of garlic and I would

incorporate oatmeal into my diet if I were you.

When I make tinctures I fill a blender up with the herbs then 3/4 of the way to the top with vodka then blend store in a dark/darkjar (if you have it) 2-4 weeks strain with a old clean t-shirt whola, there your tincture! did you put them in to the tincture in equal amounts?

and how long did you leave your tincture to sit?

Bonnie Rogers

The red clover was dried and the garlic and habenaro were fresh. They were taking a dropperful several times a day.

Dear Sharron,

Not to sound like a broken record, but you want to be on large quantities of GARLIC!!! At least 8 cloves a day!!!

You also need to change your diet so you're not getting so much of the LDL. Also, if you are eating commercial meats, you're getting nanobacteria which are the critters that build up arterial plaque. The Garlic is the place to start, but I'd look at your diet and other areas of your life as well for a complete handling.

Very valuable tip about harvesting the Red-Clover when the Blossoms

are purplish in color; not brown. But I guess they turn brown upon

drying; the phyto-plant estrogens are in the blossoms when purplish.

I'd tried harvesting the red-clover too late. Thanks for posting.
