Guest guest
Yes, try FeverFew Herb either dried and made into a Tea or capusles. FeverFew also called Bachelor's Buttons have been shown to reduce this Disease at the University of Rochester in New York. But don't go out and try to harvest your own FeverFew because it is only a certain type of FeverFew; it's either the Blue or the White. Just go to any Health-Food Store and buy the FeverFew capsules. --- In herbal remedies , MrsHatcher2B <dcaston2003> wrote: > > I have a question.. a friend just found out his dog has cancer . Guest guest
How about kefir? On another list I'm on, drinking kefir along with eating the grains seems to have worked for people as well as dogs specifically. I don't have any personal experience of how well it works, but that's what they're all saying :-) Warmly Liz \ herbal remedies , " Anne " <anne_white53@s...> wrote: > > Yes, try FeverFew Herb either dried and made into a Tea or capusles. > > FeverFew also called Bachelor's Buttons have been shown to reduce this > Disease at the University of Rochester in New York. > > But don't go out and try to harvest your own FeverFew because it is > only a certain type of FeverFew; it's either the Blue or the White. > > Just go to any Health-Food Store and buy the FeverFew capsules. -- - > In herbal remedies , MrsHatcher2B <dcaston2003> > wrote: > > > > I have a question.. a friend just found out his dog has cancer . Guest guest
I know many who have had success treating animals (and humans!) with a tonic (very similar to the Alpha Omega Tonic III) comprised of equal parts of the following powdered herbs; neem chapparal graviola andrographis Take one ounce of this and mix with 4-5 cups of water, preferably in a double boiler. Heat at a very low boil for 20 min, stirring occasionally. Cover and let cool. Carefully pour the tea into containers for freezing (square shaped work best), leaving the sediment behind. When the tea is partially frozen, drain off the elixir into a separate container. You can save the ice and add it to your pet's water. Dosage is dependant on weight. You can start with a low dose, and increase until you see signs of a Herx, then back off the dosage a bit. Or go off this rough scale; a 10 lb dog would get 2- 1/2 dropper fulls, or a large dog would get 4- 1/2 droppers for the first 2-3 days, then reduce dosage. Be aware that some supplements may interfere with this tonic's effect. The tonic also does other amazing things for older pet's ailments such as arthritis. It smells and tastes awful, so mixing it with yogurt is advisable. (I've done this with my dog and rats, and they take it happily. A cat may be more challenging.) For myself, I put it in caplets and swallow it, though some sublingual time would be beneficial I'm sure. -Raine
