My question is in reference to skin care for acne prone skin: I suffered w/ nodular/cystic acne for a number of years. Even though I rarely breakout at this point in time, I still have some hard nodules that remain and just won't go away, regardless of the topical treatments I've tried. I just can't get them to budge. I was wondering if anyone can shed some light on an herb or combo of herbs that can be applied (or ingested) to shrink these embarrassing nodules I have. I really DO NOT want to have them surgically removed, and am looking for a safe, noninvasive way of getting rid of them. Any info provided will greatly be appreciated. There are several that can be helpful to the skin, etc. If the nodules are scar tissue, some essential oils may be valuable fo reducing or minimizing scar tissue. Single oils: Helichrysum, lavender, cypress, elemi, blue yarrow, rose, cistus, myrrh, sandalwood Scar prevention blend: 4 drops helichrysum, 6 drops lavender, 8 drops myrrh, 2 drops sandalwood Apply neat 25 drops over wound or cut daily until healed.
