Guest guest
hi, my daughter gets severe sinus infections and also suffers with fluid in her inner ear. i'm going to suggest that she try to snort the warm salt water and/or the coconut oil mixture. (i love being on this list because there is always good stuff here - thanks.) i know that 1 part alcohol and 2 parts vinegar will dry up fluid in the outer ear. has anyone ever had experience with fluid in the inner ear? i also know that if you're not careful, bad things can happen to your inner ear. thanks for your help. Guest guest
hi, brenda, the warm salt water mixture and the coconut oil mixture are 2 different things to try for sinus infections. i saw information about these in an earlier post. if you're new to herbs and natural remedies, please be careful. not everything works for everybody. listen to your body and do your own research. enjoy this day He has made, gloria Personals Skip the bars and set-ups and start using Personals for free
Guest guest
If you use Kosher salt for the salt flush it doesn't sting at all. I haven't tried it with celtic sea salt yet but will let you know later on today. As far as why it stings with conventional table salt is some chemical in the processing. When I put coconut oil in my nose I basically just put a pinch of cayenne in the oil and put about a tsp in each nose. You can do it without the cayenne as well. It is kind of messy but melts right away. If you are laying down with your head over the edge of the bed it works pretty slick and only takes a minute or two. My chiropractor used accupuncture today on my sinuses and I was amazed how my ear unplugged on one side. I think I will continue to do that for a couple of sessions. Anyone else have any luck with accupuncture or does this group not believe in that? Jeanne
