Hi, Sherry,

This is an ionic foot bath. I have one and it is supposed to remove alot of toxins by creating an ionic charge opposite to the charge that the junk in the body likes to breed in, thus drawing some of the stuff out of the pores of the feet. I must be honest, though, the water turns just the same color if there are no feet in the water; most of the dramatic water color change is due to the interaction of the metal conductor in the foot bath, the salt and the contaminants in the water (color varies by geography). However, the consistency of the water IS different when feet are put in it (it's oilier and I have seen a foot bath take small pin worms out of someone), but I'd really like to be able to know what exactly is drawn out of the body by having the both waters tested. Haven't gotten around to doing that yet, but when I do, I'll post the results if you're interested.

Susan

Sherry:

I have a foot bath machine, it’s

called a Q2 Energy Spa. From what I understand it doesn’t pull toxins

out of the body; what it is supposed to do is provide the body with extra

energy and the body then uses that energy for what ever purpose necessary, be

it detoxifying, repair, or whatever. Our bodies are remarkable and know

where to apply this extra energy for what is needed. The water is the

medium through which the energy is absorbed. When I first started using

mine I was very ill and would find black chunks of matter in the water.
