Thanks so much for this info, Michelle...I'm just having such a hard time staying away from the sweets...and I'm NOT going to eat any atificial sweeteners...I get severe leg cramps & heart palpitations nearly every time I try them...I would love to hear how the Agave & Syrup work in baking...I'm also wheat & gluten sensitive...makes eating kind of hard at times...Thanks again...Blessings, Robin

I haven't started baking witheither, but understand that both can be used in baked goods. These are NOTSugar Substitutes, but natural sweeteners that have far less impact on bloodsugar than processed sugar does. We love the taste in smoothies and coffee(yes, I know we shouldn't be drinking coffee). In fact, my father andniece, who both have conditions that have them especially need to avoidsugar eat the Agave Nectar right on pancakes and waffles, etc. Hope thishelps! Oh, one last thing...the Agave Nectar is kind of like honey but moremild in taste, and the Brown Rice Syrup has a very creamy almost butteryflavor.Michelle in NC
