I am new to the group. I have a gawd-awful toothache. It's probably

an infected root and I need a root canal but I am too busy to sit in a

dentist's chair for a couple of hours. Besides, I hate going to the

dentist. Does anybody in this group have a sure-fire cure for a

throbbing toothache!!!! I've tried cloves, mint, benzocaine (Ora-gel),

swishing with peroxide. Aspirin helps for awhile, then the throbbing

returns a couple hours later. Thank you for any help (besides telling

me to go to the dentist). Karen

Hi Karen,

Try some Oregano oil (neat) applied on/around the tooth with a q-tip.

Beware that it is strong stuff.

I would highly recommend against a root canal. Do some reading at least

before going that route.

Check out Doc's Tooth & Gum in the files. I haven't used it myself but friends have and rave over it.
