Guest guest
Quite some time ago (before I've made the dietary changes that I've made), I was hospitalized with pneumonia. Several months later, I caught a " cold " , which progressed to bronchitis. I was very worried about developing pneumonia again. A friend of mine suggested that I try something. Now, as much as I believe in the power of nature to heal, I'm also quite skeptical whenever someone has a " cure-all " . But what she suggested wasn't going to hurt anything, so I tried it. She suggested drinking purple (red) cabbage juice, 8-12 ounces, 3 doses, 12 hours apart. I have a juicer, and I had purple cabbage, so I tried it. I took the first dose on a Saturday morning, the second dose that evening. I was still feeling pretty sick and was really convinced that it wasn't going to work. I took the third dose on Sunday morning. To my surprise, by noon, I felt great! By that evening, all symptoms were gone. I don't get colds very often, but I've had the opportunity to test it twice more. It's worked both times. Has anyone heard of using purple cabbage juice to " cure " cold? Any ideas why it might work? I'm still surprised that it worked, and I'm love to know why. Terri -- _ Play 100s of games for FREE! http://games.mail.com/
