Can anyone recommend a good homeopathic recipe book? Preferably one

with herbal recipes, essential oils, etc...I would love to have one

for a reference book. Any help would be greatly appreciated--I really

have no clue where to start.

Hi Marci,

Sounds like you're looking for a Naturopathic book? Homeopathy is something else entirely.

The best naturopathic book is School of Natural Healing by Dr John R Christopher.

I'd like to know as well. Only have one homeopathy

book currently, and although I'd recommend it, more

would be good. It's Homeopathic Rememdies by Hershoff.

Oh oops Marci, you were looking for an herbal book!

Sorry didnt catch that lol.

Well for herbal books I have loads of starter

recommendations =)

School of Natural healing by Christopher is one

already recommended - a gem! A bit pricey though, but

it's really worth getting down the road. You'll keep

going back to it.

Any book by Michael Moore

Advanced Treatise in Herbology by Edward E. Shook -

good but not the best 'beginner beginner' book

Herbal Defense by Robyn Landis - Very clear, easy to

understand, helpful, and great for beginners.

Concentrates slightly more on the ayurvedic side.

Herbal Medicine by Dian Dinchin Buchman - aimed more

toward the true beginner but useful for all areas of

your walk with herbalism, very very basic and simple -

almost too so - but also has this almost magickal

charm about it.

Health through God's Garden by Maria Treben

Herbs for Health and Healing by Kathi Keville - cheap

paperback that's LOADED with VERY GOOD information

James Dukes The Green Pharmacy - not really many

herbal recipes - he likes food stuff like soups, but

an amazing reference by body conditions

A Modern Herbal Volumes 1 and 2 by Maude Grieves -

available online or in physical form

Making Plant Medicine by Richard Cech

The Family Herbal by Peter and Barbara Theiss - GREAT

book here too

14- Day herbal cleansing by Laura Vukovic - Also

excellent

These are some of my favorites out there
