Guest guest
Marloe, I'm going to jump in on this, if it's ok. As you may have read, my son has a geographic tongue, but doesn't seem to bother him. But I would love to know if it indicates anything. He acquired it during a severe virus (Norwalk) bout, was hospitalized for 5 days w/unstable potassium levels. I noticed the tongue about the 3rd day in the hospital. His tongues right side is marked with the shape of half of Africa and then a little lower, toward the tip and more central (but never to the midline) are about two or three small islands. Does that make sence? What does your books say, if anything? Debra
