Hello all,

Thank you for all of the advice on pap smears and mammograms. I

am not too concerned about having to have the pap smear again in 6

months. It was normal and the partial obscuring inflammation was

probably because It was almost time for my period. Now I have a

question about apple cider vinegar. I have read the health benefits

and so much want to take it. HOwever, I tried to drink it in water

and I gag and gag. I cannot stomach it. Could I buy gelatin caps and

put it in them and take them that way? Wouldn't it be the same thing

and I wouldn't have the acid hit my teeth? Thank you for any advice.

Hi I was just curious...can you take Honey? Maybe you could mix a

tablespoon of Brewer's Yeast with a 1/2 teaspoon of honey and 1

teaspoon of ACV and make kinda a paste to eat froma a spoon daily. --

I recommend that you buy a good quality organic apple cider vinegar.

I usually buy Braggs, but sometimes it is out of stock and I have

bought Spectrum.

Start off with one teaspoon of acv mixed in with one or two teaspoons

or more of honey in a 12 to 16 oz glass of water. As time goes by,

you can increase the acv, and decrease the honey. I now use one or

two TBS acv with 2/3 tsp honey mixed with water.

When the weather is cold, I use water that is room temp or a little

bit warm...not hot or it will kill the good stuff in it. If the house

is toasty because we have the woodstove going, I like the tonics cool.

I actually found that I look forward to an apple cider vinegar tonic

when the weather is hot. Nothing is as refreshing after a long day of

yard work. I put ice cubes in it. I make extra, cause my 5 year old

daughter loves it too!

My mom actually now drinks hers without honey, but I don't think that

I will ever reach that point.

If you are worried about the acid bothering your tooth enamel, just

make sure to brush afterwards.

If you want to take it in the capsules, I don't see a problem. I

don't think you would be able to make a bunch of extras, because they

would probably disolve. I have seen some thick acv geltabs available

through mail order, I think through Swansons.

You might also start putting acv on some of your food. I love it on

salads, coleslaw, and on fish. I also add it to smoothies.

Take care,

Teresa

I cant stomach it either, which is a shame. I really

want to do the 'honey drink' Dian Dinchin Buchman

recommends. Just honey and ACV in water for an

energizing drink, and it's also great for weight loss,

but alas....yech!!

I know some places sell pills BUT I cannot verify

their quality. I don't even know if ACV is decent

enough IN pills. I have some from a long while back -

Herbal Healers Academy - but was always too lazy to

take regularly. It's strange but I swear I grew

HUNGRIER when I took them. Odd huh? Especially when

it's supposed to help with weight. I figured maybe it

helped with weight balance, and that it was trying to

correct something, I dunno.

As for the gel caps, you could do it each time but

this wouldnt completely alleviate the taste. Liquids

have a way of getting on the outside of the caps when

filling, trust me. I am in the same dilemma with my

" bee Blend " - can't STOMACH the stuff, so tried

filling gel caps. KNow from experience liquid in them

is a no-no unless taken right away....but since this

is a thick, dark GOO <g>, thought it could work.

Turned out not being able to really fill the capsules

:/ Stayed only a few days in there before softening.

Hopefully someone gives you some ideas
