Here you go De Ann...Potassium BrothCarrots - washed, unpeeled, chopped finePotatoes - ¼ inch outer peeling with skinParsley - a bunchOnions - large amountsGarlic - large amountsCabbageBeet topsCeleryAny other vegetables on handWash and chop the vegetables, then simmer in a large pot of boiling waterfor not more than 40 minutes. Strain and drink the essence (broth) only.(Strained vegetables to the compost. I dig mine in the heap to discourageflies.) Excess essence may be stored for up to 2 days in glass containers inthe fridge. Very useful in restoring lost electrolytes and minerals.Beneficial in general. It really isn't bad, believe me:) I shall be making a pot of broth on Mondaymorning. How about you?I am having a party tomorrow, (at least three healthy salads to go with thecopious amounts of meat South Africans eat! Staying away from the garlicbread will be hard so I am going to try and stay busy!). I will need thebroth then so I will make some on Monday morning. Want to join me? )Have a good weekend yourselfMarloe
