Well, a couple of months ago I switched to raw milk. I started feeling so much

better! I have been fighting a sluggish thyroid, and fertility issues that I

have traced to the hormones they put in milk and meat. Without those synthetic

garbage xenoestrogens I started having so much more energy! Last week I bit

the bullet and sold my freezer full of meat to my sister, and replaced it with

all organic meat. I am not perfect, I still eat a little sugar now and then,

but sodas are gone and I have never drunk coffee or tea so I am good there. I

think I am ready to do more though.

One thing that I found is when I switched to the raw milk, I needed/ wanted less

meat. The same thing happened when I switched to the organic meat. Now I am

craving vegetables. My only problem seems like a silly one, I just have never

learned to base recipies around vegetables. I have always had a meat based

main dish, with veggies as sides. Now I feel like I would be happy to have

some more vegetarian meals, and I just don't know where to start. My husband

is a big man (that is not a euphimism for fat or overweight. He is 6'7 " .) and

it takes a lot of food to keep him going, so salads alone just won't do it for

him. What are some really hearty veggie based meals that won't take a year to

produce?

Raw milk is delicious. The taste varies with the breed and what they eat, but

the farm we go to is grass fed Jerseys. It is creamy. We often skim, but

sometimes do not. Even skimmed it is still creamy and smooth. It is very

filling when the enzymes are not killed, so we cut our milk drinking in half.

I noticed an immediate shift in my hormones when we made the switch. (I chart

my temps for fertility reasons, and they jumped right after we switched. I

wish I could discribe it better for you. I am eating less, less sugar, and

have so much more energy just with that simple switch.

We go directly to a farm and buy it from a farmer. We found them on this site:

Good luck. It is definately worth it. Since I switched, two of my sisters and

a brother have switched. All they had to do was taste it.

I would do a search on vegetarian recipes, or get a good veg cookbook - there are some really good ones around.
