Guest guest
Hello, I have been reading the posts about hot and cold showers. I do not have a detachable shower head and thought about something that may work. I wanted to run it by you guys and see what you say. NOw, I am pretty new to all of this, so if it is silly please don't laugh. How beneficial would soaking a washcloth in hot, hot organic apple cider vinegar and putting on an area...(for me if would be the armpit area and breast), then alternating to a cold washcloth with or without the vinegar? Would that work? Is there detox capabilities by doing this? And wouldn't it help with my breast tenderness? Just a thought, please reply Thank you Sharon
Guest guest
Hi Sharon, not silly at all :-) There's two ways to do hot/cold: 1. in the shower 2. localized: put hot pack on location and ice-cold pack. 10 mins each, alternating 6x, ending with hot. I use a hot-water-bottle for the hot, and a frozen ice-pack for the cold. Works great! I have no idea if the ACV would have any benefit, but I think a washcloth would loose its hot/cold properties too fast?! love Lisa - Sharon herbal remedies Tuesday, November 15, 2005 11:21 PM Herbal Remedies - I have a question.... Guest guest
Hi, Sharon, You don't need detachable shower. I don't have it. I use regular shower for the full body shower, and you just raise your arm and point to your armpits and brests. It is much easer thatn packs. You do 1 min hot, 1 min cold, I usualy count to 60 and complete 7 cycles. Finish with nice warm shower. It is much more benefits of this hot/col shower. Also I found that is much easier to do this right after exercise. It is much harder if you do this right after you get up, or you were not active.
