Guest guest
Dear Guys, Just as an aside. Answering questions on Herbal Remedies is one of the things I still do when I get around to it and have the time, but I no longer do One on One consultations anymore. This has to do with my writing schedule and the fact that Naturopaths in general have been being attacked here in the State of Florida. A fellow Naturopath just five miles away from me was thrown in jail several months ago so this heinous act actually just sped up what needed to happen for me anyway. I'm pretty much writing full time now, and doing lectures etc. Hopefully in 2006 I'll be able to start my videos to explain all the "ins" and "outs" of natural healing including full demonstrations of how to make your own stuff. I'll keep you posted, but please - no more private email comms off list. OK??? In Health and Love, Doc PS. You can always call my office # below to ask about a particular program or product or regimen as my staff are very good about answering these types of questions. Guest guest
Doc, Sorry to hear that you won't be able to one on one consultations anymore. Sometimes I don't trust myself to know my body very well, so there are times that I would like a one on one consultation. Can you recommend someone for me? Someone that has been trained by you? Or would it work best to get diagnosis and then come and ask the list? Just trying to get an idea of how best to do some things, because I really don't trust myself a whole lot on some matters with my health and would like a professional like you guiding me along until I have learned enough to do it on my own. Thanks for all you do--for where I live, naturopaths are still allowed to practice freely, but I have yet to find one in my area that is of your calibre. Its really sad that I haven't been able to find any like you where I live. Becky
Guest guest
Dear Becky, Wellllll, thanks so much for the words of praise. ;-) Which area do you live in??? I've trained several around the country. For the moment, I'd simply explain whatever symptoms you're experiencing to the list and myself or others will jump in to help. I wouldn't go to a Medico to get a diagnosis. Several years ago, of all places, the Wall Street Journal came out with an article that 75% of all diagnosis' are wrong. This means you have a one in four chance of getting the correct indication from a Medico. Not odds I'd like to gamble my health with. It's pretty obvious when you write out your entire diet for a week, what aches and pains you're experiencing, and how you're body's functioning to figure out what's happening for the most part. Some esoteric diseases are a little tougher, but for the most part, just getting on a good all organic diet and some general herbal remedies goes a long ways to helping people get healthier. Hope this helps.
