Guest guest
I am wondering what you all have used succesfully on ear infections? It seems garlic oil is the most used thing, and I'm guessing it really works? I like to try and treat things naturally and am kind of new to ear infections. I have on occasion in the past given antibiotics, never the full number of days or full number of doses. I decided I wanted to begin treating them naturally about a year ago. Well, my 4 yr old DD got an ear infection and my husband insisted I give her the antibiotic. Well, she ended up with a dangerous allergic reaction. Praise the Lord she is all better now, 2 weeks after the reaction but it was awful. It was called Erythema Multiforme. So although my DD was on the antibiotic for 8 of the 10 days it didn't do any good, she now has an ear infection in the same ear. I'm nervous I won't be able to get rid of it. Any ideas on how to treat it? Thanks, Traci
Guest guest
Hi Traci, I believe that you can't go wrong with the Dynamic Duo: Total Tonic and Echinacea tincture - check the files for details of these. These will handle any infection :-) love Lisa - sk8inghunny herbal remedies Sunday, November 06, 2005 12:54 PM Herbal Remedies - Ear Infections I am wondering what you all have used succesfully on ear infections? Guest guest
Hi, I'm new to the list. I've been handling allergies and sinus infections lately with a combination of: Nettle (blend of root and leaves), Devil's Claw, Elderberry, and Mullien... with Echinacea and Goldenseal when we're pretty sure it's an infection. This combination seems to act as a decongestant and mucus thinner as well as helping with inflammation, so I'm thinking that I would try it on an ear infection if my 16 year old or I got one. We use the drops. Don't know about dosing with an 8 year old.
