Guest guest
This is such a great group! So glad you're here. I'm somewhat new to this altho I have dabbled here and there in my 49 years here on earth. I figured A was important, and would love to start juicing some carots in the a.m. I wonder if that would help. I love carrot juice fresh, just can't stomach it canned. Anyone into juicing? Never thought about the butter and cream.. there's sooo much to learn Thea > Hi Thea: > > The most important nutrient for the eyes by far is Vitamin A. > > Vitamin A is found abudantly in Butter;Cream and Fish-Oil especailly. > > The amount of Vitamin A in butter/creme is dependant on the quality of > the forage the Cows graze on...the better the forage... the more Vit. > A. Guest guest
Thea, I'm learning to juice more each day. I believe a raw veggie and fruit diet is the healthier way to eat, but I don't care much for raw veggies. I do enjoy the veggie juice. I'm having some absorption problems, and it was suggested to me to juice as many of my veggies as possible. I do feel better so it must be helping. Guest guest
The one thing I wonder about is time.. I own a business and single mom, homeschooling 1. Time is something have very little of. I rarely cook, so I wonder if I'd have the time to juice. Feeling better from juicing, sounds like a good thing. Thea Thea, I'm learning to juice more each day. Guest guest
Thea, It doesn't take much time. I would say that it takes me about 20-30 minutes in the morning to juice my veggies. I try to drink at least 8 oz. during mid-morning and again 8 oz. mid-afternoon. I make enough juice in the am to last all day. I store the leftover juice in a glass jar with a tight fitting lid and consume it the same day.
