Guest guest
I am wondering if there is any one out there who like me is following both Dr.Rath's recommendation and also using enzymes such as nattokinase and serrapeptase to clear arteries of plaque. Many of you must be aware of Dr.Rath's protocol with emphasis on intake of high doses of vitamin C and Lysine and Proline in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disorders and cancer in the body. You may also be aware of how proteolytic enzymes such as nattokinase and serrapeptase work efficiently in reducing formation of fibrin and plaque inside the blood vessels. Recently I read in Dr.Rath's book on cancer that one of the main causes of the spread of cancer in the body is due to the destruction of collagen by protein digesting enzymes and he recommends lysine in high doses as a natural enzyme block that blocks the activity of these proteolytic enzymes from the spread of cancer. On the other hand the proponents of the enzyme therapy with strong proteolytic enzymes such as serrapeptase and nattokinase recommend the use of such enzymes to clear blockages in the arteries and restoring blood flow throughout the body and help to avert coronary blockages and strokes. It appears that these 2 programs run counter to each other. I personally have used proteolytic enzymes and since I am on it have had no episodes of any anginal pain in the past 2 months. however, I also started on Dr.Rath's program...but now from what I read in his book it seems these 2 programs work against each other. Does anyone have any views on this? Will highly appreciate Thanks Reza
Guest guest
Hi Reza...I am not familiar with Dr. Rath's protocol at, but am very interested in the enzymes you mentioned that reduce the formation of arterial plaque. Perhaps others here are more knowledgeable on this topic. I'd be interested in discussion on this. Guest guest
__________________ Dear Reza, ....so glad you opened this topic for discussion I considered the (NKSP) option for my Hypertension but learned severe uncontrolled high blood pressure is a contraindication for NKSP (At this point in time I've decided to get more aggressive with my Hypertension and go with Vitamin C and MSM) ....in the past for my cardiovascular issues...I went with Dr. Linus Pauling's researched therapy of Ascorbic Acid, Lysine and Proline...and stopped eating "all meat" and all meat products...my HDL and LDL levels have finally normalized...also learned... Everyone should not take nattokinase/serrapeptase (NKSP). People with bleeding disorders, such as hemophilia or a group of diseases called "hemorrhagic diathesias," should not take NKSP. People with ongoing bleeding problems, including ulcers, recent surgery, recent major trauma, or hemorrhoids, should not take NKSP. Anyone who has ever suffered intra cranial bleeding, or who has had neurosurgery or ischemic stroke in the previous six months, should also avoid NKSP. Last, those taking blood-thinning drugs such as heprin, Coumadin or aspirin should use NKSP only if advised and carefully monitored by their prescribing physician. Plus, the specific enzyme, "nattokinase." 5 which has a strong fibrinolytic [clot-dissolving] activity comes from the fermented soy cheese, natto.5...and because of all the bad PR soy receives...can we trust it...I've chosen not to ....and let's keep in mind that organic "enzymatic nutrition" is maintenance for health! I've learned...There's no substitute for organic living foods ....Be Blessed in the Right use of Knowledge...JOYintheMorning... _________________________physical_therapist_2004 <physical_therapist_2004 wrote: I am wondering if there is any one out there who like me is following both Dr.Rath's recommendation and also using enzymes such as nattokinase and serrapeptase to clear arteries of plaque. Many of you must be aware of Dr.Rath's protocol with emphasis on intake of high doses of vitamin C and Lysine and Proline in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disorders and cancer in the body. You may also be aware of how proteolytic enzymes such as nattokinase and serrapeptase work efficiently in reducing formation of fibrin and plaque inside the blood vessels.Recently I read in Dr.Rath's book on cancer that one of the main causes of the spread of cancer in the body is due to the destruction of collagen by protein digesting enzymes and he recommends lysine in high doses as a natural enzyme block that blocks the activity of these proteolytic enzymes from the spread of cancer. Guest guest
Hi Joy and all, Just a couple of questions regarding your below post. I understand Linus Paulings guidelines as far as taking Ascorbate but what are the recommended amounts for Lysine and is this L-Lysine and Proline? How long did you take it before noticing a difference? Does anyone here know the difference between coated and non coated Ascorbate and is the coated less sour and easier to swallow as a powder? Thanks Don Wells joy wilson <joy2yrwrld wrote: __________________ Dear Reza, ....so glad you opened this topic for discussion I considered the (NKSP) option for my Hypertension but learned severe uncontrolled high blood pressure is a contraindication for NKSP (At this point in time I've decided Life is not about how fast you run, or how high you climb, but how well you bounce FareChase - Search multiple travel sites in one click.
