Guest guest
There is so much polution in our water today that going with distilled is a good option. I have an artesian well that I drink from that is loaded with minerals. I have it tested twice a year for contaminates. Most bottled water for sale is a rip off. It is simply filtered water out of a tap and bottled with a fancy label or pretty, blue bottle. You could save a lot of money by just putting a Brita on your faucet, use a pretty pitcher and storing it in the refrigerator! Tinctures: I have used Everclear for tinctures in the past, but I find 80 proof vodka or rum is just as good. Liquer is very expensive here in the deep south. It is heavily taxed. Luckily, it's still cheaper than buying a one or two ounce bottle from a health food store. debora ***Make your words soft and sweet; you just may have to eat them someday. Guest guest
If I might add an observation, if you have a Brita filter, the more you filter the water through the carbon filter, the more particle/pollutant it removes from the water. I've tested it via a TDS meter. Its quite true, as Debra mentions, about most bottled waters purity, (unless it is distilled water) they were comparable to my tap water. --- bamboochik wrote: > There is so much polution in our water today that > going with distilled > is a good option.
