reoccurring nose bleeds

What can I do for a little boy with reoccurring nose bleeds? I know that cayenne will strengthen the blood capillaries in his nose, but he is only 3 so getting him to take it is another story... They happen whenever his face is bumped, but they also happen just because. This is something that his father deals with also, and as a child he had his nose cauterized multiple times (using multiple methods). That didn't help at all. I don't want to put my son though that. Any suggestions?

Thanx!-Krista

I don't know if this is a related condition or not but thought I would chime in here a minute...

My nephew (when he was quite young) used to have nosebleeds for no apparent reason. Found out he was allergic to milk. Got him off dairy products and the nosebleeds stopped, too.. not sure if there is a connection there but might be worth checking into.

Hi Kristen: I contacted you privately and now I write publically.

It has been known since 1870 that the lack of Vitamin C causes

Scurvy and that one of the symtons of Scurvy is " nose-bleeds " .

So your little boy has a genetic-(based on the fact his Dad has)

dispostion towards not assimilating Vitamin C as well as most people.

All this means is your little-boy will need more Vitamin C than most.
