Guest guest
Hi, I have been going to a holistic chiropractor for about 10 months now. He has helped me a lot in the areas of digestive problems, GERD, diet, pain, etc. Currently I am going to an acupuncture doctor and he has helped me with some of my neck pain, etc. But his treatments are short lived and keep returning. I have all kinds of " little things " wrong with me according to the medical doctors. You know, stuff like " arthritis, degenerative disc and joint disease, bulging discs at multiple levels, facet joint arthropothies, GERD, gastritis, small hiatal hernia, irritable bowel, etc. " I do not have diabetes (I check my own blood sugar) and my heart rate and pressure are normal. The problem is with all the nutritional changes I have made and the supplements, etc. some things have just not gotten better. My problem is this. At the level of the bottom of the esophagus but in the back/vertebrae/bottom of my bra, my spine feels unstable. I am fine in the mornings up to early afternoon most of the time. But the longer I am upright, the worse the problem gets. When I stand, walk and bend, such as to fold laundry, it becomes extremely painful, the muscles spasm in that area and I become nauseous. I tried lying flat on my back; then raised my legs at a 90 degree angle and pressed my back to the floor. VOILA, all the spasms and pain left me while in this position. Then to get up and start moving around and the pain (throbbing and nagging) starts all over again. Sitting at my desk is not comfortable either - leaning into reclining position is more comfortable. I have similar problems in the neck area between C3-C7 (Cervical spine) with bulging discs and spondylosis and L5-S1, spondylolisthesis and pars defect. Surgeons do not want to touch me and refer me to pain management doctors. Of course, their " treatment/therapy " is more pills. And I totally fight the pills until there is no choice. My question is, if surgery is not an option and taking meds makes you sicker, what else to do? Will the spine every fuse together by itself without medical intervention? Or better question, will the disc every re-hydrate itself so one can again become whole? I have been to numerous doctors already. The last general practitioner I went to at Loma Linda, Calif. told me " you are falling apart " when I asked her what her diagnosis was of my various problems. The drugs she gave me for my " falling apart DX " worked on the central nervous system and made me very ill. I went off all drugs since then since most of them give me too many problems. I have done Hulda Clark's parasite cleanse and I feel better in some ways but the spine thing stays with me. Any feedback would be appreciated.
